Trujillo Villas Espana Featured in The Spectator
Trujillo Villas Espana are excited to announce that we have been featured in an amazing new piece in The Spectator entitled Trujillo is Spain’s unspoilt gem.
Written by William Cook, the piece explores Trujillo’s rich history of being the home to the conquistadors and unique location. Trujillo is quite unlike anywhere where you may have visited before in Spain. Its architecture dates back to the Romans, the Moors and Castilians and you can’t help but be transported back in time as you explore the cobbled streets and walk amongst the shadows of the towers of the Castle.
Trujillo Castle was also used for two sets in the most recent episode of Game of Thrones.
Cook writes: “So what makes this town so special? Well, the location for one thing… If you’re looking for the unspoilt Spain, this is the real thing… There’s none of the ugly commercialisation that blights so many of the coastal towns. I’ve rarely found a place so unspoilt in the whole of Spain.”
Cook also highlights our luxury villas to rent in Trujillo, Extremadura Spain:
“Each property is uniquely furnished – it’s like staying in someone’s home. Pick of the bunch is Villa Moritos, a conquistator’s mansion with its own pool and stunning views across the vast Extremaduran plain.”
You can learn more about Villa Moritos, which sleeps eight, here. Or any of our other villas here. Villa Martires is a grand villa, fit for a conquistador with unspoilt views over the dehesa forests that surround the town. Or alternatively the Artists Studio is the perfect retreat for a romantic Spanish holiday away for two.
