Visit Trujillo this month and enjoy the area’s first International Beer Festival known as La Cervezada.
The city of Trujillo welcomes all visitors to gather together and enjoy the International Beer Festival.
When is the festival happening?
The event is taking place on the 18th to the 19th March 2017.
Where is the festival happening and what is happening?
The beer festival will be taking place in Trujillo’s main square, which is in the heart of Extremadura. The event will take place in a giant beer tent featuring over 30 manufacturers of both local, national and international beers.
Staying at Trujillo Villas ensures that you will be able to enjoy the festival on your doorstep so you will not miss out on anything. Therefore, attending the beer festival will be the perfect opportunity to experience the rich history and beautiful area of Trujillo, as well as trying out some exquisite beer.
Alongside the beer festival the event will feature musical performances taking place in the medieval castle, recently appearing in Game of Thrones, adding to the experience of the beer festival and Trujillo itself. Imagine yourself strolling along the cobbled streets of Trujillo listening to the sound of classical music playing whilst drinking some of the best beers available and eating at wonderful restaurants.
Are you a beer drinker?
If so then you should be visiting Trujillo as soon as possible, as the city sells high quality locally produced beers including Trujillo’s own craft beer; Belona, which will be available at the beer festival you to try. Belona was first launched in September 2016. The beer itself is made from four styles of beer; American Pale Ale, Oatmeal Stout, Corn Ale and Nut-Brown Ale. You will also be able to get your hands on the Christmas special edition of the beer as this will also be available at the festival.
Other local specialities available at the beer festival for you to try out include A Pipa, La Siberia, La Loca Juana, Juan Ranas and Las Claras Beer.
The beers on offer will make a for a perfect drink for in the evening when you are sat by the pool or in the garden watching the sun set taking in the breath-taking surroundings. They will also make the perfect gift for any beer lover.
You can also experience the tantalising taste of ale, stout, lagers and bitters alongside mouth-watering local tapas including the famous delicacy; Jamón Iberico de Bellota and locally produced cheeses.
